Article V is foreshadowed in the Declaration of Independence

As many know, I am a strong supporter of using Article V in the Constitution to help restore America. Now there is many opposition to it because of various reasons. I came to the realization that what the Anti-Article V supporters do not understand is that it is even in the Declaration of Independence. Though written a decade prior to the Constitution, it is in there.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR TO ABOLISH IT, AND TO INSTITUTE NEW GOVERNMENT, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness (emphasis mine - Wish I could bold here)

Let me break it down for you here:

alter = via Article V
abolish = via revolution

    My problem is that it is clear that the attitudes abroad in the country are far more socialist than they were when the original constitution was written.

    Any constitutional rewrite has a high risk of embedding socialism as our new constitution with FDR's new deal becoming the actual constitution instead of a de-facto one.

    I am not convinced that it can be controlled, especially since so many of our leaders are willing to ignore the rules because 'its the right thing'.
