Adolfo Carrión, Jr. served as the Bronx Borough President from 2002 to 2009.

In 2010, The Obama Administration named him regional director for HUD's New York and New Jersey Regional Office. He left HUD in February 2012.

The former Democrat who dropped his party affiliation last year and is not currently registered to a party is now running as the Independence Party’s nominee and hopes to run in the Republican primary.

The married father of four children lives on City Island in the Bronx.

    Reading his responses he's all over the board. Well, hopefully AS will start to invade his conscousness deeper and help him straighten out his premesis... I know, after being brainwashed by the looter party decades ago, it took reading Ayn's novels to break that insidious hold they had on my mind and wake me up from the idiocy-induced naiveity the moochists had me in. Serious - when you're deep into it, you don't realize how bad the tentacles have penetrated into your soul, corrupting and rotting it from the inside out, until you start severing and extracting them one by one... and awakening to reality.

    I pray he has a speedy and full recovery. ;)
