The illegals march on selma...all planned and no doubt funded by the self-proclaimed 'elite'. Here's some more info to back up what we are seeing unfold today.

I wish there was a "Scotty" to beam me up...I've seen enough.

Small Business Administration opeates exactly that way. If you are a homey and looking for a loan of less than $250,000 (that was in the early nineties, you were ixnayed as to small to succeed. The first step is being turned down by the local lending institutions. Even with a business plan and a track record the banks wouldn't turn you down just keep asking for more information or paper or ...whatever they could dream up. So we expanded on our own. After a while we expanded too much and got hit with some mandatory requirements. So we had too cut back to escape the punitive rates and a few other items. HOWEVER if we had been a new immigrant from where ever with no business track record the floodgates would magically open. So what we did was sell the business to one of he immigrants who upped the loan once or twice then went bankrupt and somehow had enough to buy a motel. Two of as partners each got half the minimum. Mine went into some stock investments at the time were doing well. My ex partner took the entire customer list and opened an office in his house servicing the accounts we had opened over some years. So that's how we screwed the system back.. I moved mine out of the country where it hides in the open to this day....in another country. non interest account. My partner expanded the business and relates one day a SBA representative showed up and offered to fund a buyout for an immigrant. He retired soon after. that's what I call giving back. Except there was no sand in the vaseline. One more part to that. My ex-partner went to work for the new owner an later married into the family. But had no ownership liability. His immigrant wife sold out to another immigrant..the difference in programs is the SBA gave classes on how and when to go bankrupt as part of the training. It was not offered to citizens..

For obvious reasons I'm an expat living on my retirement pay....until I need to use part of that account. thank you Mr. and Mrs. America and all the ships at sea. Since I could compete honestly and fairly in the land of the big PX I used my skills and 'looted the looters?' Legally. However I never mooched couldn't figure a way to turn a profit. And I'm not giving back. I'm collecting on the pay and pension and benefits owed that were reneged on. When I do move to the next country. I'll be able to buy citizenship. You see there are no interest accounts and there are no interest accounts. And it's all legal until...I die. Tough...but the milk's still sweet.

Only dumb asses give back an extra percentage t the people who just looted and mooched them.
Until then it's all fiction...or is it.

They would demand it of the United Nations. And liberals are neither logical nor consistent nor just. True enough, formal secession became unconstitutional in 1865--after four years of warfare. But that won't stop those people.

Continued thought. One house of congress acts as the grand jury. That is called impeachment. That house in Clinton's case did a good job delivered the defendant to trial by the other house. The other house side tracked into side issues such as sex instead of sticking to the charges which were lying to a grand jury and other related high crimes or misdemeanors. Based on that Hillary is laying the groundwork for her own impeachment IF congress has learned to do it 's assigned job. Personally I think it was RINOS.

If it didn't why was he charged? with telling fibs to a Grand Jury and a sitting Court. The effect was it was important enough for an attempted cover up and it exposed the NOW as a joke who were heavily into cute butts and heavily not into protecting their sister. Personally I think any one dumb enough to bring up the subject is right up there with Democrats bringing up war stories such as Swift Boat Home Kerry and Lyndon Butcher Johnson or Balanced Budget Bubba With his 1.4 trillion national debt increase. Some scabs are better left unpicked. For those that created the scab to begin with.

It isn't the stranges thing to evolve. It's pure secular progressivism. The strangest I've uncovered so far is claiming a period was added to the Declaration of the Independence after it was signed which should cause a change in the Constitution which would demand the idea of collective big daddy father figure government should be in charge of all problem sand all should be solved collectively. Sound weird. You'll see more about this POS 'notion' in the coming week. Cites quotes, and naming names included.

It's more open in Mexico. Fore example you are working for a government owned agency. A different party wins. Job exchange time. The new party in power puts their party faithful to work the outed party faithful start job hunting. the smart ones, higher paid and more educated are already on the immigration lists of several countries and have valid passports and no less than a visa to the US good for three years Esch visit is ten days maximum enough to do some serious job hunting. Theoretically one could work ten days take two days to cross and recross, work ten days etc. while awaiting green card or immigration status especially if they have a sponsor...the worst way as evidenced by the government of Mexico's own printed advice is desert and border crossings

A few months ago one of the threads featured that one. Trump A Dump Dumbo was claiming it was proof of Mexico encouraging illegals. He's no Spanish speaker or reader. Bu stretching the truth as the plagiarizing the Ford factory move proved. Stretching as in shredding it to pieces.

I think it may impossible to stop the roller coaster we are on. I don't see any way given our Congress and the refusal of the Republican Party to allow us to have a real say in the choice of a presidential nominee that anything is going to change. I expect we will be given a candidate that can be controlled. I believe both parties, except for a very few, are in on it together. They have made terrible decisions and are looting us before things fall apart. Their buddies the bankers are in on it. This is their view on how things work and being devoid of character or conscience they are saving themselves and their interests. They think we are stupid because we let them do it. I think we should work as little as possible or go on welfare and pay as little in taxes as possible. I certainly think we should be ready for some sort of financial breakdown. Save yourselves because no one else will. The way we think about work, creating and achieving is what they count on. What did they do in AS? They walked away from what they were doing. Freedom or slavery is a choice.

Proof there is alien life on extra terrestrial space objects (moons, planets, asteroids, whatever). When the first astronauts went to the moon the discovered the alien life forms as they left foot prints. To their surprise when they left the aliens left with them. Not wanting to be accused of UFO scares they said nothing. All was well when they landed back on earth as the alien life forms had disappeared. Not a coast to coast discussion point. True as the truth can be and I can prove it!

But I'll give you a while to think about it.

Once upon a time everyone wanted to come to the land of opportunity... Now they want to come to the land of milk and honey... Your honey.

I don't understand why people don't fight for the things they want in the nation of their birth. We must stop the flow of honey from the welfare state.

We need a leviathan over everyone, regardless of "tribes", enforcing a few laws and enforcing contracts, without regard to location.

I find the borders to me mostly a relic from a time when people's interests were aligned by geography and it was hard to get items of value past customs agents. We answer a bunch of questions even though we could press a button an send real value across the border with little gov't regulation.

Simply because how easy it is to send value and have conversations across borders, I think language and borders will decrease in importance and culture will flourish separately from them.

"enforcing contracts and have them uniformly and strictly enforced." in order to achieve this successfully, you must first have a nation. that requires a border in order to determine how to enforce. Property rights are important and should not change just because another "tribe" chooses not to recognize them. Your concept of living in tribes is an inefficient way of getting things done and property protected

You are confusing the physical realm with the realm of thought.
Protection is what government's only real job and is what it should be doing.
Without proper boundaries around a country or an individual, however, you lose the ability to self-protect.
Borders, language and culture are parameters for the proper function of a country.

I agree with almost all you say in your comment above. I would not have used the words massive cultural invasion though.

"What they disagree with is lawlessness"
Yes. I disagree with our policy during my lifetime of looking the other way. I also disagree with solving this problem by executive order, bypassing Congress, even if the benevolent dictator happens to be carrying out my wishes.

    "Borders, language, culture.
These are the but three that define a nation."
I'm hoping the nation state declines in power and people pick their own language and culture in the form of "tribes" they form without regard to borders. Borders decrease in importance as you increasingly can transmit values, in the form of software and CAD files, across borders for free. The only vestige I wish to see of the nation state is very few laws against use of force and enforcing contracts and have them uniformly and strictly enforced.

I would digress with the title as the author refers to economical consequences mostly. As an immigrant myself I can attest that I know many of my kind, and we are not interested in imposing our culture. Yes we speak Spanish among ourselves, as your mother language is something hard to forget and a new one hard to learn. Our children speak Spanish to their parents if these don't speak English, but all of these kids, and I mean all, speak English, and are accultured in the US (as sorry as the pop culture may be).
The real invading threat is Socialism, and it's not coming from the immigrants, it comes from the top of the US gov. Of course if you are offered free money, you take it. The article makes a very good point, and Americans should be as straightforward as in other countries regarding these tactics, in Mexico it's called "vote buying". Creating people's dependency on the government is the best insurance for power.

"But what do you, yes you, do when the conspiracy "theory" is proven true? "
Do you know of an article from a news outlet like the Washington Post or NYT that touches on this? It would be a huge problem b/c it would be like intentionally creating an underclass: "You're really not supposed to be here, but we'll look the other way and even give you some free benefits if you don't alienate any gov't officials."

Herb: Right! There is a system in place to apply for visas to work, to study, to visit here in the U.S.
Why should anyone breaking this line of application be awarded or entitled to anything??!!

I cannot tolerate any idea on this subject with the exception of loading all illegals on buses or planes, after mug shots and finger printing, and sending them back to where they came from.

How has this evolved into the U.S. being a "free for all" country? In name it is not, there are regulations, but in actions it is, because regulations are not being enforced. This situation is further aggravated and fostered by both parties since on one side they are looking for votes no matter how or who votes and on the other side they are afraid to alienate immigrants and risk losing their votes when every vote is critical. There is a stigma around this subject of breaking up families, leaving people hungry, suffering children, etc., that puts a direct burden on a politician that refuses to go along with this administration's policy.
If the citizens (legal) have made it known that they are frustrated with Washington and the recent changes in the Congress/Senate have shown this, then the Democrats will have to compensate, as they have in the past, allowing voting without legal documentation, votes from the dead and multiple votes by the same people being bused to various voting sites by organizations like ACORN.

The responsibility goes to our government and it has not protected its legal citizens. They are robbing their citizens to perpetrate the means to their end. If Americans do not stand up and demand decisive action then we will merit the government we have.
