I'd worry more about restrictions on primers and smokeless powder, but this is disgusting, too.
Many states are considering laws to make carry permits unneccessary. Next they will have to override federal laws on ammunition.
The sooner local government takes control from federal government the better.

The only bad ammo is that which won't send a bullet downrange once the firing pin hits the primer.

It's all part of the "skirt the spirit of the constitution" game - you have every right to keep and bear arms, but it says nothing about the right to be able to use said arms - just "keep" and "bear" them. As such - Ammo is a threatened species, and if Ø and it's intended successor, Queen #, have their way, extinct.
