I don't know that 3D printing is going to be able to build a laptop in the next 20 years - there are simply too many components and materials involved for that to be practical on a small scale.
Was thinking more about 3d printing for case/ mounting parts in which to install off the shelf components (rasp-pi or similar mobo, ssd, screen, keyboard, battery.)
Being able to design and print a case might make prototypes from hobbyists more likely again.
Still it will likely be an interesting project.
