A real time example of just how crazy the nuclear arsenal model is and how it can be triggered by something of no threat. Reason to be scared some of our own incompetents or theirs could kill us all.

    The author is repetitive of his claim of "relentless U.S. nuclear modernization" without providing evidence. Odd that he doesn't make a similar point about the Russians, as under Putin they have been testing new nuclear missiles and bragging about it. Nevertheless, his theme of accidental nuclear war is a terrifying prospect now as it was a half-century ago.
