Of the articles' listed sub-topics, only the last half of the last one is an authorised responsibility of the federal govt under the constitution.

Note also one of the co-writers of the first paragraph under "Legal" is AS character Paul Larkin.

i'll be honest, i dont know much about the current political affairs.. but when the article here talks about the one thing i do know about, the internet, i question the validity of the ENTIRE article and to a lesser extent even the conservative/republican party.

I've never seen a bigger strawman argument in my life, The claim? that net neutrality and other regulations would remove competition but thats a load of shit right there, it is currently a MONOPOLY with NUMEROUS states that have laws against accessing certain public lines (to lay their own) if a current isp has one there, how the FUCK is that not monopoly?

The article cites Madison River blocking access to vonage being ok, Because its just 1 out of the 5 local isps available as if that seems to make it right. The article goes on later about comcast and bittorrent, claiming "A few heavy users were hogging bandwidth at the expense of the others" when they are not capable of using more speed than they pay for, in the end it may be comcast that foots the bill of the overall bandwidth used monthly but its not the users fault for using what they are paying for when most other users dont even come close, except these days they are for services like netflix and amazon instant video and so instead of pissing off the majority of their users, they tried to extort money from netflix, 1 company, when they are in reality just using ALL of what they have already paid for.

Can you smell a crock of shit? i can.

I am NOT a Republican but while watching I kept asking "How are you going to pay for all of this"?"How will you ever get anything passed in Congress? They are ALL fed up with you.
Oh Well I guess we will find out.
