I might consider Kyle a hero if he had been performing his job on American soil. As it stands, he was just a mercenary for the empire.

America was the aggressor and invading force in the Iraqi war. The Iraqis were defending their country and therefore they were the only ones who had the right to use violence. I don’t know if I would go so far as to call Kyle a murderer; that’s a bit extreme as the people he killed weren’t entirely innocent. They were trying to kill members of his gang.

If Kyle really did find it fun and enjoyable to kill people then I would call him a psychopath too.

Every time one makes it a democrat/republican issue one distracts from the fact that both parties are just different sides of the same coin.

I contend that Chris Kyle was a pro military person
who rose to the top of his career line because of
personal excellence. . we of the u.s. hired him to
defend us. . as a retired usaf officer (28 years),
I know that virtually all military members work
their asses off to deter violence, and sometimes
it takes some violence to deter more.

my brother-in-law was killed by Iraqi WMDs.

Ds are just faster than Rs at taking us down
the wrong road. . at present.

thank you for your time and attention. -- j
