In honor of Spring-

I think the crux of this story has to do with changes in legal determinations of parent. Old British law had an emphasis on marriage in determining parental rights. Bastards had a legal definition under the law. In US law, we have seen decisions that favor emotional appeal rather than enforcement of contractual rights. This blatant activism on the part of judges has lead countries to create convoluted agencies such as the "fertility regulator." But I have a question. Absent any contractual agreement (written not oral) including marriage, how would you determine parental rights/obligations?

sadly, there are no pictures with this one-but there is a govt authority that sounds like something out of a novel and not actually in the real world. that counts for something, eh?

Anything with authority in the title should be avoided like the plague!
