Good article about the enduring success of Rand's body of work in both fiction and philosophy. Nothing earth shaking for us here, but nice to see her in the media.

A brilliant article - should be used to educate the masses, although they still probably wouldn't 'get' it. Sigh.

Not to mix up topics, but the best blurb I recieved for my latest project was one glaring comparrison to Ayn Rand.

It meant a lot to me personally for all the reasons that Atlas Shrugged is still selling well. There is a timeless quality to Rand, that means the work is not just a flash in the pan, but has legs that will step into the future.

Great comment from the article. So true!

Ron Johnson, the U.S. senator from Wisconsin, who said he isn't sure "there are too many differences" between Rand's ideas and his own.

Rand, he said, showed him that "we're all suffering collectively from Stockholm Syndrome. That's where people who have been kidnapped are grateful to their captors when they just show them a little bit of mercy. And collectively, we just don't understand the freedom we're really losing."
