Private Education and "the rest of the story"

What they didn't mention is that it wasn't the "end of the recession" that caused the problems. My father was adjunct faculty at two colleges like the one in the article and what happened was that the government changed the rules on what types of educational institutions could qualify for federal student aid. Basically, the federal government subsidized an industry and when they changed the rules, they pulled the rug out from under all these "on-line" universities.
