I remember the first time I discovered paid protesters. Working in Sacramento, Commiefornia's capital, they were part of the landscape. Most were very poor. Stoners with rusty bicycles. They were brain dead and happy to go cause a ruckus for a stipend they could slip into their pipe and smoke. There are some more sophisticated ones...like these girls. But, I think that these college campus protests are probably mostly paid protesters. They can really be a problem because they're usually nihilistic as hell. I'd stand there with my white shirt and tie and some would crowd me and yell their script at me as though I was the enemy. I'd stand there and smile, unfrightened. My prediction....You'll start to see these types showing up and having similar tent-city protests on public high schools. Why not? They won't know why they're there either...
