Much like me, but I started in the 1950s. After Tarzan, I read Romanticism: Davy Crockett, Sherlock Holmes, and only in the summer between high school and college did I read Atlas Shrugged. The Atlas Society sells my book, "Romanticism Reborn," where I have a chapter on discovering Tarzan. Thanks for commenting.

In 1976 I started purchasing the Tarzan series. At 13 y/o I had my own monies from working.
Then "Mars" and "Venus". During this time (13-16) I was also exposed to Rand's works and Tao te'ching. Romantics, philosophy, objective reality.
The Objectivist's Ethics tied all this together, ten years past.
What a ride ..... so far.
