"Offensive" Uber Eats ad deleted from Super Bowl half time half time

The snowflakes are still falling...a funny (not really THAT funny) Uber Eats ad has offended a minority segment of the population and has been deleted from the Super Bowl lineup. I even tried to link to the ad, but YouTube just replaced it with one that removed the "offending" portion.

The ad suggested that in order to remember something, that you had to forget something, to make room in your brain, I suppose, but THAT wasn't the offensive part..

The offensive part surrounds a man, with a peanut allergy, eating a jar of peanut butter because he forgot it had peanuts in it, with his face breaking out in hives, and the peanut allergy crew are suffering apoplexy that someone would make a joke of it.

Now, movies have contained humorous segments about allergies, for decades. Apparently, however, this kind of humor is no longer allowed, even during Super Bowl halftime.

I guess the next thing will be the White House generating a press release on the evils of joking about memory loss...

I think it's the "circus" part of the "bread and circuses" plan of control. I'm sure a lot of good Romans went to the games, too, and I could be reasonably sure they would never go there to protest Rome or the emperor (with the exception of a few losing participants). I'm not a fan and apparently you aren't, either.

Oh, I don't care about the SB, only that it was the platform for the commercial. A lot of funny ads used to be shown for the first time there.

Who gives a rats ___ about anything the NFL does.
They are racist scum. They are the enemy. Boycott the enemy. (not sarcasm)

what is this "super bowl" you speak of??

i heard of some ritual where most of America turns off its brain and watches a bunch of America hating clowns doing something for several hours that means nothing, serves zero purpose and the total focus of so many people on it has lead to a major decline in our nation over time
