DeWit, who served as chief operating officer for former President Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns, resigned a day after conservative Arizona talk show host Garret Lewis published an audio recording of him purportedly offering Lake a job in exchange for her commitment not to run in the 2024 Arizona Senate race (the recording has not been independently verified by Forbes).

I've said for years, it's getting hard to tell the Demoblicans from the Republicrats.

Forbes is propaganda and DeWit is a Uniparty Bagboy. It’s all just like the mob. “ the boys back East” At some point people will sing 🎶 I can see clearly now🎶

Deep Fakes are getting very scary.
With enough samples, they can depict the victim doing all manner of nefarious deeds.
And it is almost impossible to detect the fraud.

I think there is a time restriction on how long after you post that you can still edit it.

MSNBC anchor seems to be enjoying it too much. I'm just curious as how they will spin this thing and blame Trump, like it means something important to him. But the best tactic still remains when Trump supposedly confused what's her name with Nancy Pelosi. The media is falling all over itself on that one. I can hardly wait until the reality of that one comes out, perhaps even in court.

That last one struck me as being like sort of a Brit art film.
At least the very last scene was a no longer confined "Prisoner" zooming away in his hot rod kinda car.

One thing that got me, Allosaur, is the ending of the last episode.

Number 2 (Leo McKern), waltzing into Parliament through what I'm told is the House of Lords entrance.
That makes him a hereditary peer.

A fun bit regarding AI ... there was a robo-call sent out in Pennsylvania (or somewhere on the East Coast) ... it was an AI Robot created call sounding like Joe Biden, telling folks that they did not need to show up for the caucus vote ... something to that effect.
Point being... it is going to come to pass, that any voice recordings will be held with suspicion -- is it Live, or is it Memorex?
This also goes for videos where faces can be digitally mapped into each scene as a way to place someone At the Scene of the Crime.
Whether it is shown to be real, fake, or some toxic mix -- it will create confusion and doubt in the mind of the viewer.
This is all part of the plan to destroy objectivity.
Objectivity, Objectivism, Galt's Gulch ... keep your dendrites exercised and ready for whatever form of nonsense gets tossed over the fence.

    Duh! Patrick McGoohan, not David.
Thanks for pointing out my goof, JDG.
For some reason, I can't edit the original post to correct it.

I didn't see it when it first came out (just a toddler at the time), but I managed to see it on TV a few years ago.
Extremely prescient, and WAY ahead of its time.
Bought the boxed set on DVD.

I like Kari Lake. She is a lot more honest than the other politicians.

I don't think it is even a crime to offer money to a non-politician to refrain from running for office.

Okay, I love Kari Lake even more.
I guess after making 7 figures for a while...
    She is set.

How much do you want to bet that we will NEVER KNOW who these people are? [And yet, somehow we know they know Nikki?]
