No, it was a black and white 30-minute TV show and you could see people eating actual meat with veggies on a plate. Charlton Heston was not in it. The major scene was essentially people at a dinner table. I think. It was so long ago and I only saw that episode one time.
I was much older when I saw the Soylent Green flick that was in color. First saw it in a theater and then off and on on TV. Or parts of it. Soylent Green kinda looked like cookies. If you went anywhere you had to walk in a huge tight crowd due to overpopulation. I recall at the end of the movie Charlton Heston's character yelling, "Soylent Green is people!"

I'm more than happy to drink the milk these people won't. It's great on cereal. Wonderful with fresh peaches. Also pretty helpful for making a nice hollandaise or bechamel sauce or even pudding.
