All true dat. Loved them all, complete with the waves of mirth, anger, disgust, sorrow, shock and more laughing. Thank you so much Dobrien!

Good Gravy -- this is one powerful collection ...
Tough to pick a favorite ... next time I am at a saloon, I will order me a Rittenhouse -- of course at 145 pounds, that will be the first and last drink that I order.
The gal being completely open about her mental illness -- I need to tuck that one away for future use.
I think that I've seen that exact bear-- on the north side of Lake Tahoe, only it wasn't sitting at a picnic table -- it was dumping green trash bins over in a relatively quiet neighborhood.
Ok, I got my favorite -- Stop calling them Elites -- they are Parasites. Keeper right there ... and I will use it often.
Thank You Dan -- your efforts continue to be appreciated.
PS: old rusty lawnmower blade -- I think that I have one of those in the shed, might come in handy someday soon...

Twain for Twelve, I do believe.
It was confirming the minimum depth to not run aground. And yes, that's where it came from.

Another nice fact. He bought the rights to a lot of books, but he got caught up in trying to use newer printing press technology, and ultimately went bankrupt.

He spent a long time, being paid to give small speeches, to make his investors whole.

Methinks he was the breed like Trump, and his vociferous supporters (like Dobrien) who are screaming to get the country back on track.

    Thanks for the complement.

BTW, my other favorite sayings of Twain:

Let me Assemble a Room full of Idiots and Morons.
    And let me assemble Congress...
    Oh, but I repeat myself!

    And:
    Pro is to Con
    What
    Progress is to Congress

Finally, if you get the chance to read his "Letters from the Earth"... OMG it was a funny read.

I'm impressed both by you and Samuel Clemens.
Me old dino recalls long, long, log ago reading that Sam's pen name was inspired by steamboat crewmen measuring a Mississippi River depth and one of them yelling out "Mark Twain!"
Me dino dunno what that means.

You remember the guy in FL. The edited the 911 tape to make it sound like "What's he doing..." "He's Black". He was ALLEGEDLY Hispanic.

    Mark Twain:
If you don't read the news, you are UNINFORMED
If you DO.. You are MISINFORMED!

    None of this is new...

    Great messaging in this collection!

Oh, that brain flea parasite is downright chilling when you you think of it. Broke up on the Netfilx rendition of Elon Musk, because it could be soooo true!

Meme #1 bottom row impressed the dino the most.
Meme # last bottom row illustrates how a Hispanic can become a Caucasian domestic terrorist in the news.
Being a retired state corrections officer,, Meme #5 reminds me why sometimes an inmate will leave a work release halfway house and go to their parents house to await being picked up for an escape charge. Waiting, I'd ask mama for a meal of steak and baked potatoes because that was never served at the state prison I worked at.
