Study concludes ICE cheaper to drive than Electric. What?

But I thought that electric vehicles were cheaper to drive? Not so says this study. What's the primary reason? Cost of time is also factored in. When one includes the cost of TIME to re-charge electric cars, one finds out that they aren't such a bargain.

    Name one mandate by the govt that has ever worked out as cost effective and beneficial to society........

    Whenever the govt interferes with the free market system, then corruption follows...

    Interesting that this study is ONLY refueling costs. Factor in higher cost for purchase, and if you keep the vehicle longer than 5 years, potential battery replacement.

    I think EV's will eventually have a proper place as short-distance transportation, but not as a complete replacement for ICE. I would like to see more emphasis on fuel cell cars, but until more "clean hydrogen" is available, I don't see it happening.

    I'm making my diesel less expensive. 50/50 fuel/filtered veg oil. The oil is free from a couple diners I freequent!
