Seems McCarthy won't commit to meaningful border security that would ruffle Dem/RINO feathers.

  McCarthy folds like a cheap card table every time when it matters most to stand up for (small "c") conservative proposals.
  If compromise means an all Democrat agenda and no give on anything conservative, then screw 'em. McCarthy should just run as a DemonRat.

EVERYTHING I have heard the holdouts want, I agree with.Sounds reasonable. What is Kevins problem with good proposals. Only dummycrats might not want them. So....is kevin holding out on some items to appease the dummycrats to make him an appeaser. Or is he just an asshole. How can we get Jordan to step up??????

Maybe its time to just open the border completely and let anyone who comes in become an instant citizen and stop fighting the left. Let them win and let the country fall apart, and then maybe people will realize leftism is really a bad idea.

  I've had similar thoughts, but wait until after I'm dead. The "empire" is failing fast enough and I want it to hang in there until after I'm gone. Sound selfish? So what. The younger generations keep voting for their own demise in spite of what warnings us elder folks have to offer.

      Voting as a solution is at best a reach, agreed. But if we do not vote, the only other solution(s) is violence or violent. We need to vote, and we need to win at this point by 5% or better to win the count. This holds true until we have enough "honest" (relatively honest - we are talking about politicians) counters. Look at FL - that has been razor thin margins for quite a while, then it finally got turned around!
      We did get screwed in 2020 but that was because of the rules changes and the courts.....Covid rules...that they are not changing back.

I would have voted for Jim Jordan over McCarthy, except I don't have a vote. McCarthy is too swampy, and anything from California is tainted, but at this point, they should just get behind McCarthy, rather than some kind of compromised government with the DemonRats.

  If I could, I would have voted for Jim Jordan over Swampy too. Me dino picked up from off and on watching Fox News is that Jordan does not want to lead the party.
  What he wants to lead (to concentrate on) is all the investigations of the Bidens, the DOJ, FBI, the media~~I guess also Twitter~~and any other assorted Swamp Schiff because Jordan said investigating corruption (treason, I'd say) is what he is really good at.

      I never had any inclination to be a politician of any sort. Even when I was a state prison corrections officer, I never cared to be a supervisor during my career of 21 years between 1982 and 2003.
      A curious sergeant asked me about that during the late Nineties. I asked him if he remembered Sgt. Dennis Brown, who died of a heart attack and was my same age at the time.
