Going to NYC? Better put a hand axe in your backpack.

Hochul has made concealed carry extremely complicated--so it seems that axe play is the order of the day in NYC.

Thug laughs about incident on social media after no-bail release. Just another NYC "non-violent"--well, some would call it--crime. But many New Yorkers apparently see it as "non-crime" as there's no punishment.

Back when my brother and I drove as OTR truckers eight years ago, we were offered a load in the Bronx. We turned it down, even when they raised the offer. Turns out we we were doubly right--the Bronx was hit by a tornado that caused all kinds of damage. If we'd taken that run, we'd have been stuck there for at least three days with no power, no water, no food. Talk about literally dodging a bullet (or a knife or an axe or a hatchet).

This is why I am no longer a Libertarian (party member). "Criminal justice reform" gives us governments that refuse to do their one job.

If Trump had had the sense to send the National Guard into those cities, he would have won reelection in spite of the cheating.

What's scary is the guy was back on the street immediately after same-day arraignment, laughing about it on social media. What does this teach youngsters active on social media?

This is scary. Why would anyone in a large city like New York be walking around with an axe in their tote bag? The girl in the picture looked terrified.

Worth remembering. Just hope this cancer doesn't spread beyond the collapse zones already in place.

If a "protected" demographic attacks you, in one of these liberal utopias, you best not even try to defend yourself, because the DA would file charges against YOU, and your assailant would be a no-bail release, and back out on the street.
    You can keep NYC.

No worries, I wont go to NYC, Portland, Chicago, Seattle, New Orleans at St Louis. I have become very aware of everyone in my vicinity now, keep my car doors locked and windows up, and let my pit bulls roam the yard now. Its not like things were even 10 years ago.

Just carry a baseball bat, with a glove and a ball. No glove and ball and the bat is a weapon.

I'm glad to hear you are taking your own safety seriously.
Unless you go into areas of known drug activities or in the wee hours, you should be safe enough - unless the FBI decides to start trouble and blame it on non-existent white racists.
Atlanta certainly isn't as safe as it was when I attended college there years ago, or even when I was there on consulting engagements years later.
It is sad to see, but it has been run by corrupt Democrats for nearly 150 years and by corrupt blacks for nearly 50 years.

My home is in Florida. I am currently with my girlfriend just south of Atlanta, Ga. She just purchased a car via Carvana. We have to go into downtown Atlanta to pick it up. We will both be armed. I cannot think of ANY major urban area I would feel good about going into.

Me dino wouldn't go to NYC even if I could conceal carry like I can in Alabama.
Last time I was there I was an usher at a cousin's wedding during the late Sixties.
At the start of 2023 here, I won't even need a permit due to a new state "constitutional carry" law.

Self protection isn't an option, since weapons rules there don't allow anything other than a knife with a blade less than 3". Anything like a baton or any kind of martial arts weapon is also illegal.

The only thing that passes is a cane, since banning those would restrict movement of disabled, so getting a good wooden or composite cane designed for defense, and the training on how to use it is the best alternative.

My father frequently left the country to contract building things, like subdivision in Saudi and such and he always changed planes in New York. He hated that town. He said it was a 'sewer'. I told him it was no place for a nice Indian boy!

i used to have to go there
my late wife and i raised Eclectus Parrots
when my wife passed, i sole them very cheap to a woman that had a store there

our first trip, it was so foggy i could not see the Towers

next trip the Towers had been destroyed, the woman had an apartment right at Ground Zero
    i saw the Hole left....

i gave up the parrots and the woman, she was a major pro-baby murder type and i simply refused to deal with her

There's a Twitter video of the guy trashing the place, threatening people in McD with his hand axe. Back on the streets immediately after arraignment, no bail. Who would live in/near a s**t-hole like that?

Guess the "immigrants" being bussed there will feel right at home. Or maybe they're having second thoughts, thinking how much the return trip is going to cost to get out of there.
