That happened right before everyone’s eyes when Harris was chosen for VP over Whitmer. Gretchen thought she had it in the bag. Nobody toed the line on the DNC Covid narrative like her. The armed response would be at the local level - not a mass riot or demonstration, unless there was a federal military response to the killing of the tyrants' ATF and FBI agents trying to confiscate weapons.
Maybe the feds would start in blue cities and be temporarily satisfied with 50% of the population disarmed.
I know of many people who would respond with force to any attempt to confiscate today.

I disagree. They can override the precedent for the individual feature of the 2nd, without a massive riot, gnashing of teeth like the Roe-v-Wade, for sure. The riots might come if they subsequently tighten the knot too fast.
