I am not a fan of Rogers but I am enjoying his little joke and the media's reactions. There is a terrible truth in Atlas Shrugged that intellectuals do not want revealed so they try to demean the book as a teenage fantasy that is not for the mature mind. The last thing they want is for everyone to think for themselves and for those that can prove their worth to lead on the basis of merit.

In reading the article I found out the main protagonist is Danny Taggert in AS. I am sure Ms Rand would be amused.

Meh. There's a difference between being a parasite and simply getting rid of the parasites on yourself. The epitome of the left is sheer laziness: they aren't willing to work for what they want. They think it should just be given to them. The problem is that when everyone adopts the parasite attitude, everyone dies because there's no one actually producing anything. That's the real story of leftism.

Most of them don't have any brains left (from the concussions). ;)

Seriously, though, I'm glad to see some well-educated professional athletes. I can't watch most of those post-game shows because of the incoherence of many of the players. Brady and Rodgers are noted exceptions.

Exactly! I found a GooTube critique that completely slaughtered the actual plot. It was obvious they never even watched the movie, let alone read the book. Me being me I couldn’t resist pointing out the errors. Complete with “receipts”. (page and paragraph references) and did my comment get deleted it? Yes it did other Markus. Yes it did.

Apparently he spilled the beans that the NFL is very Quietly using Ivermectin and HCQ . Just like con-gress is.
“The concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.”
I copied that Quote cause I love it.

"It follows Danny Taggart, vice-president of a railroad company, as he tries to rebuild the Rio Norte Line that has crumbled away."

Somehow, the article lost a little credibility right there. LOL

Time to watch again. Never had reference. Don't be a spoiler, I'd like to see how observant I can be.

If that happens I'm inclined to "post" pictures of me sportin' a "woody"!
Can you imagine the "books" in all the betting circles that could be upset? PCR positive at half-time....LMAO!
    But, Aaron, it's not positive!
    And....So....?
I shared all this with mom 30 minutes ago....she's in research mode now.....laughing at how he's punking everyone who's "sensitive".

The twits making those comments couldn't afford to buy his used jock strap - most likely. Why is it news that some keyboard hero cowards are sniping some multi-millionaire pro athlete. Even if was the commie dolt Lebron James...not news worthy. What this shows is that the left, the establishment, is triggered by Atlas Shrugged. I've always hoped someday to find a decent critical report on the book. But, all you see is this kind of stuff because it seems that none of these dummies actually read it. The only critical comment I ever got from somebody I know was, "That's fiction, you know." Haha... Aaron didn't comply with the vaccine and this combined with him mentioning Atlas Shrugged is driving them mad. He's actually trolling them...

Do you think Aaron Rodgers will totally shrug just in time for the playoffs or Super Bowl?

The irony is that most deep leftists have already Gone Galt and aren’t producing anything of value for society anyway. And they absolutely act in their own self interest. Then they get triggered when when the “hosts” start acting the same way. Their policies just make it easier and easier to Go Galt.
Leftists: FIRE movement = Good and empowering
Also leftists: Going Galt movement = Reeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'll be watching the local news broadcasts and papers for the next couple days....the stuff that doesn't usually make it out of the area.
    Stay tuned!
Aaron is on the cusp of saying "screw it" to the system. So subtle.

"The novel is set in a dystopian version of the US"
In 1957 it was dystopian. In 2020 it became reality.

btw, did anyone else notice the character in Blazing Saddles that lampooned a character in Atlas Shrugged?

Wait one guys! What is so mind boggling about a football player with a brain? My first cousin, Jim Ray Smith, left Baylor U. with his degree and joined the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Dallas Cowboys also.
