He did kill the other person, most likely by accident tho. He should at least be civilly liable for damages. If someone gets killed in my house, I think I would get sued and lose

Until 1947 it was, dare I say, a Branch of the army. I did laugh at your comment :-)

Four service men were in a pub when someone asked them "What would you do if you woke to find a snake in your tent?" The Marine said he'd take his knife slice it up and fry it for breakfast. The Sailor said he'd cut its head off and throw it in the pot for his stew. The solider said he'd use his M-16 and blow it to bits. The airman said he'd call the front desk and ask why is there a tent in my room?
    :-)

Por favor excuse a Marine for not knowing jack about USAF training.
Heck, I don't even know anyone who was in the USAF save for yourself, I guess.
My middle name Alvin was my dad's brother and best friend who flew a P-51 that shot down three Italian planes before an ambushing Messerschmidt sent him and his plane last seen diving into the Mediterranean.
Back then the Air Force was but a wing of the Army, though.
    Wing, get it? Hardy-har-har-har!
That's so funny me dino almost laughed.

Twist and distort reality. It is the only thing they can do well, besides murder and mayhem.

Naw, just someone that didn't fully do their homework but I only vetted the core of the story, That was the important part...at least they got that right; had they not, I just would have scraped it.

1963 (Basic) and 1969 (OTS) USAF - we were taught and closely monitored the entire time we held a firearm. Don't leave us out just because we don't sleep in tents ;-)

No prob. Journalism these days is rife with errors and it just makes it more difficult to vet the story out.
Just after I went through all the trouble vetting the story out...all the other outlets started reporting on it...to date, only one caught the choreographer error whereas I was only concerned about the core of the story.

That last picture’s arguments are flawed. Hollow points don’t help penetration. They dissipate more energy and damage to the first tissue they encounter, and penetrate far less.

That looks like a troll comment from China to incite.

Not criticizing your comments, OUC; just commenting on what others have said and providing the correct info. Lack of interest has nothing to do with you and everything to do with I just got back in town and trying to catch up all at once. Prolly should have just shut up :-)

They do lots of things in the movies.....The method you describe will work if you are competent....However...I am thinking here that they had a number of incompetent people on the set, thay had 3 previous accidental discharges in the days leading up to the accident.

The connection from Baldwin to the Lawyer/wife to hiltery and Epstein is accurate and that's all that matters.

I have heard that some of the production team had been using the guns for target practice. The SAA is a little tedious to unload, you have to revolve the cylinder and remove each round individually through the loading gate. It would be very easy for a person unfamiliar with firearms to leave a round in the gun.

Unbelievable was my friend's reaction, too. (He is retired from 40 years of doing electronics special effects including a lot of squibs and blowing things up.)

It's Far too Coincidental to, not, at least be a set up...so much for honor among thieves and murders.

Damn...I never thought of that.....Trump...Yes that is it....it was Trump! It can't possibly be that a lefty ideologue like Baldwin was just a dumbass.

What I want to know is who the hell even allowed an actual live round on to the set. It is one thing to be shot, like Bandon Lee by a fake rubber prop bullet, propelled by a blank....but a live round on set is just unbelievable.

One thing must also be taken in to consideration...once cocked the SAA has an extremely light trigger. If someone was dumb enough to cock the thing....which takes a modicum of effort as the hammer must come back a long way,....it would be very easy for a person unfamiliar with firearms' to tighten up on the trigger and fire it.

mhubb was even quicker on the draw. Beat me by 8 minutes. ;^)
As for a plot behind this, the media are probably preparing a story that accuses a Trumper of setting up poor, victim Alec Baldbrain.

Considering this movie was a western, you are absolutely correct that it had to be a Colt SSA. I have heard several "experts" talking about two or three shots fired and immediately discounted them as idiots. The SSA (single action Army) cannot be fired just by pulling the trigger. It needs to be manually cocked after each shot. Just ask my Ruger .45LC SSA.
