Many reasons for this . Among them Kalifornia’s
Outlawing owner operator trucking from the ports. Requiring Union drivers . Trucks must be 2011 or newer. No new trucks as they will be banned and replaced by electric by 2025. Another is Biden’s executive order “protecting our supply chain” with regulations from three separate govt agencies. You all know what that means The Demonrats/RINO destruction rages.

Supply chain problems are now of global extent.

When governments do not have a solution it would be sensible at least not to make it worse. California has jumped right in there with transportation/road haulage rules beyond stupid.
Good planning may be to do nothing, or better to make it easier for truckers to adapt, but here is California sabotaging the haulage industry, economic failure being planned.

Are we supposed to be surprised at all the confusion and idiocy that is going on this year? Last year everything was being blamed on Trump. I wonder who is responsible for this year's mess?

Florida just came out with a story for Fox News saying that cargo ships should be diverted here to Florida.

Wow! Their plans are really coming together! And no one seems anxious to stop them.

Here's a question. Could this be a business opportunity for Mexico and Canada to beef up their Pacific ports to receive the ships and then move the goods to a friendlier state than Kommiefornia? I would say Oregon or Washington, but those states are following Kommiefornia's lead.
