I think I once read something she wrote about vaccinations for smallpox. And I think she said that those who were fearful of smallpox should THEMSELVES get vaccinated. (However, someone once said that some people could not get vaccinated for health reasons.--But, even so,do the sick have a right to make life unlivable for the healthy? So do they have a right to force others to get vaccinated for THEIR health, or should they stay home if they are afraid?)

Based upon the data on ARI's website regarding the COVID issue, their commentary has not been updated in 15+ months. They appear not to have done any analysis of the data, nor have they taken seriously the experiences of members of the medical profession that provide evidence to dispute much of what has been published and promoted by government so-called 'experts'. They have not asked any serious questions about the veracity, bias, the depth of data being assembled and published, or the financial interests of the experts and medical establishment providing the data to support policy decisions and now to force individual to sacrifice control of their own bodies.
Their opinions are not supported by the evidence at hand (or equally damning the lack of evidence.)
They may be experts on Rand's philosophy, but if they apply what they know and decide that government should be trusted to dictate my health care, then I can't respect the people in the organization.

This is hard to believe. But, it looks legit. If so, I'll be glad to campaign against ARI for the rest of my life. I work closer to this pandemic than just about anybody, and interface constantly with government officials on it. This article looks like a big pile of scat...

What would Ayn Rand have thought about vaccine mandates and masking children?
Quite frankly I think she would be opposed.
That said If she approved of it , I would ignore her just like the rest of the frauds using pull and enslavement over me. That is living life with my ethical self-interest as my guide.

I agree with the author, Susan Hanson, that the ARI article (and white paper) is severely flawed today. The article was written 10 months ago in Nov 2020 and the white paper was written 15 months ago in June 2020.
I suspect that all of us have different opinions today regarding the plandemic today than we did 10 to 15 months ago. I doubt I would have agreed with the ARI pandemic white paper 15 months ago. There was ample evidence that governments were virus fear mongers even 15 months ago and giving government the authority to force vaccinate with no tested vaccine is the opposite of what I think Rand would have approved.
If the author of that article had written it today, I'd say he was a damned fool, but he wrote it 10 months ago.

I do not support the ARI.

How often do we hear we have to follow these mandates to protect others? How about β€œI swear by my life and my love of it…….” No. I will not wear a mask or get a shot to protect others.
