    I just discovered one of my dear friends who had a really interesting military career, Navy Seal, personally knew Hunter Biden. I'm too much of a lady to repeat his description of Hunter but interestingly he commented that Hunter hated his father! I may be writing a book about this gentleman (My friend not HB...he's no gentleman).My friend's autobiography will drop your jaw! I hope to have it published in mid November. He is a high ranking retired officer.

      Thanks. Must have absent-mindedly forgot my own rule to always check out the link. Maybe it's because a knee is giving me pain.
      Went Hunter second laptop hunting and found a replacement.

        Oh, don't even mention your knee. I injured my knee the first time in October, then again in November, finally had an MRI (torn medial meniscus). It hurts like hell from my knee to my hip! Now my Ortho says he can't do surgery on it until November (6 months from when I had a heart stent put in May 13). What am I supposed to do? I can't stand pain pills and too much aspirin messes up the tummy. So I am using 5% Lidocaine patches and sitting on my beautiful a lot. I'm so desperate I just ate a Kit Kat bar! No one cares, I;ve lost 35 pounds since January. I have a very mean spirited Cardiologist and everybody checks with him before they do ANYTHING! 6 MONTHS? HE'S THE GATEKEEPER! Until he says 'Go', nothing happens. I'm sorry you're in pain. N

          Sorry about your knee obviously worse off than mine.
          Nevertheless, my knee is messing with my mind. Yesterday, I forgot my cellphone on my way to a very good chiropractor I've watched grow old. Glad I was just a minute late for going back to get it or otherwise I would have been staring at walls for 45 minutes. All the magazines disappeared there because of Covid.
          Today I was congratulating myself for not forgetting my Iphone while locking myself out of my house. I drive to the drug store's drive-thru window to read a sign that says. "Speaker broke. Come inside." Me dino in no shape to stand in a long line!

            Be careful with that knee. Mine gave way. I fell on the patio. Fractured my maxillary sinus, blew out the orbit of my eye and fractured my face. All because the damn knee buckled. If you have a brace....wear it!

              Sorry to hear that. You are definitely worse off with a bad knee than I am.
              Maybe I can have a nicer weekend than anticipated. My son just gave me several opioid pain pills.
              My son says he has around 50 pills that he has hung on to for a little less than three years.
              Doctor would not prescribe them when he really very badly needed them before a successful back surgery.
              During that time I gave him 3 opioid pills I had left over that was prescribed by a dentist.
              My son gave me at least twice as many.

                Well my Orthopedist has a free hand with a pen and he doesn't hesitate to prescribe what HE feels his patients need. But you must follow his rules of prescribing and not get stupid. So it keeps people in line. I've had patients who felt one pill was great, so they took two! Wrong! Those little white pills can cause a lot of damage to ones overall health. I like that Voltaren ointment for pain (it works good). And those 5% Lidocaine patches give instant relief but you shouldn't leave them on too long at a time. Be safe. N

                  P S Did you know cherries and yellow bell peppers are anti -inflammatories? Also, red bell peppers have more vitamin C than oranges? I've been doing research on pain. I just love trying natural ways of solving pain problems. Oddly, my knee is feeling better since I moved to a second floor apartment and I climb 13 stairs up and down four or five times a day (Fred has to go outside a lot...he's getting older). The pain seems to be less and I've only been here about six weeks. I'll keep you posted on how this is working out. N

                    If you have a sunny balcony, it's easy to grow your own crop of peppers (in 5 gallon containers.) You can winter them inside (if weather goes to freezing) and they will live for several years, too. For me, hot peppers have been more prolific than sweet. Varieties (hot to sweet): Thai, Serrano, Fresno, Brazil Starfish, Mexican Cherrybomb, Paprika, Gambo, Pimento, Bell.
                    You can make great fresh hot sauce or dehydrate them for later use. I hope your knees get to feeling better.

                    Me dino got out of bed this morning almost as good as new. Don't worry about me abusing opioid pills. Like my son I hoard them (in his words) like gold.
                    You never know when you will really need them again for pain.
