I've worked around foundries for more than 30 years now. Most folks who suffer silicosis don't know the subtle onset of symptoms, or even the existence of the malady.
I find it interesting what the physiology will endure, and overcome on many occasion. I guess we will see how our species will prevail through insanity. I'm going to stand aside and watch the s**t-show for a while.

Smart. Honeywell stole a bunch of a friends production processes after walk-throughs...

And after that he waited patiently......and got even, and then some. This'll be a campfire story sometime.

I grew up only a few miles from Manville, NJ, home of Johns-Manville, the asbestos manufacturer, so I know mesothelioma's effects well.

I thought the Lancet link looked familiar...read this yesterday morning.
Did you note the date on the Oxford publication? 1987. A lot of these "Medicos" weren't born at that time. No wonder it is easy to influence their thinking....or lack thereof.

Speaking of overabundant elites, I just found out that my university has a state environmental and safety inspection on Thursday. O joy!

I don't want to get too far off subject, but markjr posted the following as, I think, is a reasonable explanation of what is transpiring...again. "Elites" just trying to maintain their respective "status", irrespective of the consequences. This is narcissistic and sociopathic disconnect from the common person and our "plight".

"The Age of Overabundant Elites" https://www.galtsgulchonline.com/post...

    It is a good read.

If that's the study examining the effectiveness of hand-washing, "social distancing" and mask-wearing, yep, thanks for re-posting it. They say "follow the science" yet ignore it because it isn't politically convenient to their plans to overthrow the world.

I have a skin condition that manifests as Miliria...a general term. One time masking caused a severe outbreak within 15 minutes. I'm still dealing with the abatement process one month later.
On top of this, I have been denied medical access for another condition, unrelated, because: "Doctor __ will not see you without a mask." A clear violation of Civil Rights Act, Affordable Health Care Act, the respective institutions published Patient's Bill of Rights, Impersonating an Officer of the Court, and in doing so in Wis "With concealed identity" (wearing a mask) constitutes greater penalty in the commission of a felony.

Trying to find a good lawyer in civil rights practice as District Attorney will not take this up.

Thanks for the above link, This report needs to get out to the masses.

As a side note, a friend of mine was just Dx with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, and wondering if all the maskwearing is a contributing factor due to hypoxia ... Or maybe even the vax ?

    Quite so.

Just came across that article a few hours ago:
    https://www.thelancet.com/journals/la...

"It survives on surfaces up to 6 days at most."
More likely a few hours. It spreads in aerosols, not via surfaces.

    As well:
    https://academic.oup.com/jid/article/...

"... contrary to current opinion, rhinovirus transmission, at least in adults, occurs chiefly by the aerosol route."
So, all the extreme cleaning of offices, schools, clinics is just theater - useless.

    As well:
"medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19" There are numerous disadvantages to health both short-term and long-term.
Paper- Facemasks in the covid-19 era: A health hypothesis, Vainshelbohm. Jan 2021. Elsevier.

Scientific papers in support of face masks- Anything? Nothing?

People who support facemasks, Fauci, sometimes.

That this is ignored and not widely distributed....irritates me.
Everything going on around us is either malice or stupid.

I just added a little tidbit of which you may be interested. NIH has had the info since Nov.

Lookie what snuck into the NIH in Nov of last year.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...

    Efficacy of facemasks
The physical properties of medical and non-medical facemasks suggest that facemasks are ineffective to block viral particles due to their difference in scales [16], [17], [25]. According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasks’ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger [25]. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask [25]. In addition, the efficiency filtration rate of facemasks is poor, ranging from 0.7% in non-surgical, cotton-gauze woven mask to 26% in cotton sweeter material [2]. With respect to surgical and N95 medical facemasks, the efficiency filtration rate falls to 15% and 58%, respectively when even small gap between the mask and the face exists [25].

This is just an excerpt.....it gets a lot more interesting.

Yes. In my work I issued notice about 14 months ago that this appeared to be airborne. Then, I watched the "experts" at the national level wring their hands and stutter... That's also when I started purchasing N95 masks, which I still wear in any indoor, somewhat crowded area. I gladly do it voluntarily. I don't think anybody should be forced to, though. The masks that were encouraged don't really work, for obvious reasons.

One noted thing is that the people quoted in the article continue to say that masks work despite there being zero scientific evidence to back up such an assertion.

It's not, but you were supposed to be dumb and ignorant to notice. Apparently the re-education camps have not worked sufficiently on us yet.
