Buffet now richer!
Thanks to Joe cancelling the Keystone pipeline. Oil is being transported by the Burlington Northern Rail Road, one of Buffet's holdings and without the pipeline that has to continue (unless we stop using oil). The pipeline would have cut off that revenue from the railroad.

Unlike most of his subsidiaries, his railroads at least provide a real service, even if it isn't price competitive with a pipeline for oil. His big cash cows -insurance- profit from government regulations and banking cartel (another government sanctioned monopoly) contractual requirements that every driver and property owner buy wasteful insurance that they don't want.| Permalink
