It would be SO simple to raise the gasoline tax a penny or two. Therefore, I suspect a more nefarious purpose.

I got a letter from my insurance telling me about technology that is in my car that can be used to see my driving habits(braking, speeding, seatbelts, etc. I assume) and save me money!! All I need to do is... I don't know, cuz I threw it away. A lot of this technology is already in the new cars, they are just waiting for a good time to tell everybody about it officially. Nosey farkers.

I'd like to tell them what they can also do with their little black box. Shove it on up there...waaay up there. My size 11 can help.

Heads up, guys. You already have a "black box" in your vehicle. It's the computer that controls vehicle operation. It's also known as an ecu or ecm. Every vehicle has had one since the mid-80's. It keeps a record of everything your car does. Now since they started putting gps in vehicles they have an easy way to track you. Congratulations. You let it happen, now it's too late to worry about it.
