No obamacare Doc reaping rewards of hard work, not gov handouts

Quite frankly, I would prefer this to what exists now. Plus, that lovely benefit of having a meaningful visit with one's Dr. without the government's claws in personal info stored on a computer. Priceless!! I DETEST going to my doc now. His nose is always on his computer screen, he isn't focused on me and whatever my ailment or concern is, and I feel like I'm just a body that needs to be manged and dismissed. It's AWFUL. I actually don't tell him jack at visits now. Cursory, all's well, buh-bye!
I do like the idea of knowing what something costs as opposed to some inflated figure. My coverage now is by far inferior to what we had a year ago. The changes are subtle, but in the aggregate, quite different and irritating. For example, well child visits through my insurance were covered fully, plus no co-pay. Now, they only cover every other year and it's $250.00. That's surprising when I come in and am told that's the new rate because my insurance changed it. Not my kids' pediatrician.
The questions are also invasive and none of their business, such as what was aske of my kids; "Are there guns in your house?" WHAT?!?! Both answered no, because they didn't like the question and thought its nobody's business. This is a subtle way the IRS is working to put a gun registration together with no one the wiser. It's those little invasive pieces of this that are alarming. Keep your eyes and ears open, folks!

thanks for the post. I'm sending it to 2 doctors - oe who lost his DEA license because his patients' parents lied about him prescribing medical marijuana, and one who said "If Obama wins, I'm going to close my office and buy a case of -------- [specificity deleted to protect the innocent].
The doctors who hate working in O-care DO have a choice - sometimes, they just don't know about it.

What could possibly have justified what the parents of his patient did to him!? That's morally reprehensible. I'm sorry he had to go through that.
I'm glad this may be of some help to them. O'care certainly helps no one. The whole system of government run healthcare is corrupt and simply a means to strip more money from the American people. Vile, just like the so-called president.
