I'm a statistic now

At the beginning of the month I wasn't feeling well. Temperature was going up and down and I was having trouble getting a deep breath. I went to the ER and a chest x-ray showed pneumonia in my right lung. I was officially diagnosed with COVID-pneumonia. A swab was taken and my test was negative for COVID. I am certain that my pneumonia was caused by the cloth masks I was wearing. Unfortunately that doesn't fit with the current narrative.

Please fight it and get over it, Rich. We're all praying for you; even some of the Atheists. We don't want you to fall to the disease and end up voting Democrat in November!

Thanks but it seems clear masks are more dangerous than effective. I'm considering not wearing one at all.

The paper masks are for only temporary use and ineffective. A good cloth mask with a filter pocket would be better & can be washed. I made a filter from surgical cloth (came from cataract surgical kits when my wife had worked at a Surgical Eye Center. I cut to size and wetted with colloidal Silver Solution (I have a Colloidal Silver generator). When it was dry I put into the pocket. I also purchased one with exhaust vents I had to modify it but the vents don't work very well. All those vents are made in China. There are instructional videos on YouTube for making a DIY vent for a mask.

I'd be curious to see some data on new Pneumonia cases, unrelated directly to COVID. Having COPD I refuse to wear one. Only thrown out of the grocery store once, then they changed the policy back to allow me a medical exemption (probably just thought I might sue them). I got a good apology from the store manager a few days later.

I dont trust the establishment much anymore at all. Especially Fauci. The hospitals get an extra 20% if they diagnose covid.

Thanks. Hearing more and more people around here that went to clinics to get tested and got tired of waiting so they left without being tested. A couple days later they got results in the mail. All positive. Amazing.

You are so correct Rich learned that the hard way actually but learned more of those who are the true believers.....reread Atlas Shrugged recently and watched the 3 films wonder how we could promote them again so others can "see". But in today's society mostly they would just toss some foul words.

Used disposables at work for a while and now I have 4 cloth ones. I'll make sure I clean them more often. I take it off as much as possible.

Me dino has to use one of those pots for my severe hay fever attacks every spring.
May not be a bad idea to use it after wearing a mask at a doctor's office or this or that store.
Have two cloth masks I wash with laundry each at least once every week.

The true believers are like a cult. As Ayn Rand said reason is not automatic. Those that deny it can't be conquered by it. Leave them alone.

Many people around here understand but there are a few Mask Nazis. I engage occasionally but it gets exhausting.

Had a nurse family member just tell me yesterday that its a fact masks effect your health, especially those that are constantly playing with it and she did suggest to put it in the sunlight after use. She also as myself says she just can not breath well with them on but Gov Cupcake has stomped his foot here and will wear one when around others in the grocery.

That works the same way, but the Navage, while more expensive ($90ish) is a worthwhile preventive investment in yourself.

You may want to try the Navage. It is saline wash for your nose. You could even try taking well-dispersed soap or shampoo in through your nostrils while taking a shower or bath. The nose is a filter. It needs cleaned periodically just like any other filter.

The tests seem to be marginally accurate. And, get well and strong...
