I worked for the Chilean government team that put together the profound and libertarian reforms that by now have made Chile an almost developed country. Chile is an extraordinary example of how to do away with a wasteful and oppresive Nanny State and get in place economic and political freedom. Chile is now N° 5 in Economic Freedom according to Fraser Institute, even freer than the USA.
