It inspired an entire genre of academic literature. My favorite: The Flight From Science and Reason, proceedings of an eponymous NY Academy of Sciences, 1995. Edited by Paul R. Gross, Norman Levitt, Martin W. Lewis.

When I am accused of unbalanced conservatism, my appreciation of leftist Norman Levite’s Prometheus Bedeviled proves that I am not unbalanced.

    Amazing! I may have a dozen book on the Science Wars in my library that took years to absorb and you grasped it instantly. I wonder if j_IR1776wg knows what is hermeneutics?

    Now where have I heard that before, “no stinking thinking”? Oh yeah, I know, “Zero tolerance.”
