When persons have anger issue, psychologists and others often use the following to help cool down hot situations. It is taught in several different ways. This is the way I learned it.
"Never let the sun go down on your wrath. Never get into a car, a plane, or walk out of the house when you are angry.Tragedy can strike quickly and randomly, and then it is too late for apology.

Given that herd immunity through individuals having antibodies on their own or through vaccines is the only way to end a pandemic, all this hiding under the bed really will extend the length of tgebpandemic

Yes! I eventually learned that Evil and Stupid are hard to tell apart, Evil being harm through malevolence and Stupid harm through indifference or disease or malfunction.

You have hit this on the heat. Russia is like that too. Maybe it’s a hallmark of colkectivism

My father was a Hebrew bible scholar. He had no choice. His father was a devoted rabbi. I don't remember, but perhaps that's where I got it from.

Talk about an "Evil Empire." There is no doubt that China will cheat, steal, and scam at every opportunity and only tell the truth when caught and it's still a good bet that it will continue to lie until the truth becomes so evident that they look like fools. You cannot deal with these people one-on-one as you would with any other trading partner. You must always look out for the angle..

This virus thing was either an act of war, or xtreme stupidity. Either way, they should pay

Anger only works in certain limited circumstances and then only if one is prepared for drastic consequences.

I have to limit my time at the computer of late, so it's possible. If I read it, I replied.

I liked the little 93 year old lady holding a Coors Light and a sign that read, 'I need more beer.' Someone dropped some Coors off for her.

Well people attacking other people for 'violating their personal space' is a bit over the top!

Lets apply that to a substantial amount of anger over the chinese releasing this virus that they created. We should take action, the first of which is to stop paying their damn labs. The second thing should be to stop funding china through our purchases- slowly and deliberately.

When americans are attacked, we always group together and fight back. Time is now.

If one thinks about it in terms of control, are you going to control your anger - and thereby the response - or let the anger control you and dictate the response for you?

That's good stuff, Herb. I've gotten very good at applying a cool-headed approach in my work. We discuss very high-dollar issues at times and it's normal for people to get worked-up...making me the oddball in the discussion. Until I turned 50 I'd join in the fray...haha....
