Iowa last night - Did somebody trigger the Thompson Harmonizer?

Judging by where the Thompson Harmonizer had its effects in the book, it must have been located near Waterloo, Iowa or perhaps as far south as Iowa City.

According to
https://www.facebook.com/AtlasShrugge...
the Taggart Transcontinental system had a rail from Chicago to Des Moines and then gradually WSW toward Colorado.

Where did the Taggart Bridge cross the Mississippi River?

The following is being said satirically, so don't downvote me.

    Effects of the Thompson Harmonizer:
    1) Everyone will all think the same non-thought.
    2) Freedom of speech, thought, expression, etc.: No to that. Why shouldn't be more like China or the Soviet Union? Should we not all take our honeymoons in Moscow?

They'll pull the lever on the harmonizer as soon as they get the White House back...

I've been busy. But I couldn't miss when you referenced an old project of mine.

Did you see the rest of it? I covered the Taggart Bridge and Taggart Tunnel, plus the two heroes, three antivillains, a few other minor characters--and the unforgettable villains.

They are marketing organizations. I think of them like Pepsi and Coke. They each want to beat the other for customers, they decide on what to sell based on polls, they dont care if we all get diabetes from their stuff, and they would both band together to keep a government from banning sugared sodas.

Thank you, Temlakos, for the Conservapaedia site. It is a long time since we have seen you in the Gulch! I guessed that Rock Island was pretty close for the Taggart Bridge. I figured no one knew Dunkertown, Iowa, although it is appropriately named for the mess that happened in Iowa on Monday night.

+1 for "Brother, you asked for it!"

And why the people's votes are meaningless when the candidates are chosen by the parties (not by the people) for the ease that the parties can control them.

The purpose of the parties is to guarantee the presservation of the parties- not to help the citizens. Thats why their policies never seem to work for the people.

I think that the deep state wanted the whole Iowa thing to just go away, or at least delay it as much as possible. They knew Biden was going to lose, and he's their darling of the day.

I suspect that the deep state is trying to eliminate anything that diminishes Biden's chances to be president. They definitely hate Sanders and want him gone, like they did in 2016. Warren will self destruct by herself. Butthead is there, but will never win either.

"Logic is a prerequisite for computer programming..."

Which is also why they blew $2 billion on a failed Obamacare website...

The linked source is my own article at Conservapedia. To repeat from the source: I picked Dunkertown, Iowa, which is near Waterloo, but smaller. Which would make sense, because the Project architects would pick a small town at the center of a circle that includes several large cities.

The Taggart Bridge likely crossed the Mississippi near the real-life town or Rock Island, Illinois.

Now to the matter at hand: I fully concur in the judgment I see here. How can these people hope to develop and run a command economy when they can't run a simple thing like a State-wide caucus?

But I see something deeper. The Democratic Party is a patronage machine. Senator Bernard Sanders (I-Vt.) is an ideologue, and does not play the machine game. We see here the difference between the Orren Boyle and--well, not so much the Cuffy Meigs faction. It would be more as if Ramirez, head of the communist party in Chile and then head-of-state of the People's State of Chile, ran a faction in the looters' economy in the USA. So you might as well ask here: not whether someone triggered the Xylophone, but whether Francisco d'Anconia blew up a key industrial facility.

Either way, we can all say "Brother, you asked for it!" with perfect justice.

As a postscript: Hillary Clinton is Cuffy Meigs. She's the type who would steal and sell the assets of a command economy.

In case anybody missed it, it will surprise no one to learn that Soros is the #1 funding source behind Shadow:

Some time back our neighborhood Dino put up a couple of links to the video. Made me smile, too!

Arte Johnson from LaughIn - Wow, there is a blast from the past. I was somewhere between 2 and 5 when I watched that! You brought a smile to my face! +1

To quote Arte Johnson: "Verrry interesting..."

I knew of the Hitlery connection shortly after the big screw up, but wasn't aware of the Petey connection until now. Also "verrry interesting" are Petey's connections to Silicon Valley money.

The people who wrote the failed app worked for Hillary Clinton's campaign - What a shock?! Not.

Maybe they wrote the Obamacare enrollment app, too!

Logic is a prerequisite for computer programming, and Dems fail logic consistently.

I am glad you like it. It is amusing to see those who do not see the wisdom of Objectivism stumble through life … as long as their stumbling does not impact me. Then it is no longer amusing; it is an assault on what I have built.
