    It used to be like that, then I realized that the weasel uses my money to pay someone on staff to handle SM and likely never reads them himself. Now I use it as a platform to reach the other people on his page. I found if you take an issue, post a link to the verifying source in the comment, then ask one, or two related questions directed at the weasel, you get a response from others on the thread that may not be aware of what he is, or is not doing. Now I use it to inform others in my area, not to mention it spotlights the reasons for term limits simply by showing the lack of representation on most issues to the constituents he claims to "serve".

    "...while I type out another ignored question on my local elected weasels FB page... " Got me smiling here, starznbarz. It's kind of like yelling at the TV isn't it? You can release the tension, but it doesn't do anything else, LOL.

    For 2 countries who were ready to exchange nuclear weapon attacks. I would say Trump walking across the DMZ and shaking hands with the Korean Deep state puppet would be progress.

    Disagree on no progress in North Korea, they have throttled down nuclear testing, it isn't instantaneous. The big difference is that, unlike previous administrations, Trump did not give money/aid to North Korea to try to get them to lower the threat.

    What Trump did was to provide a vision of what NK could be if they stopped their warlike stance. It was obvious that it at least captured Kim's imagination, although translating that into significant change is probably difficult.

    That and we suspended large military exercises that Trump pointed out were costing a lot of money.

    We'll see what the future brings.

    Disagree-
    North Korea, no progress, well it is no worse than it was.

    Agree-
    " unemployment rate down to 3.5 per cent;
    the lowest unemployment rate on record for African-Americans and Hispanic-Americans;
    real earnings up 2.5 per cent "
    etc. etc. .. and much more ..

    I'm siding with John Mark: Mark my Words on YouTube. I don't see any resolution to the deep political division that is happening in this country. It's happening in my own neighborhood. I was asked by my next-door neighbor to attend a meeting regarding 2 candidates for state office. At the meeting, I found out that it was 2 Democratic women. there were about twenty women and just 3 men including myself. I listen to the candidates and watching the women in the room nodding in agreement to the Democrat line they were espousing. I'm the only one who questioned what they're saying. They were not happy about it. I believe this the last time I will be invited to a political gathering.

    Remember when D's and the FAKE NEWS media [+FAKEWOOD] pushed mass fear that POTUS would start WWIII re: North Korea?
    POTUS > PEACE on the Korean P > NO further missile tests or U enrichment.
    New narrative created.
    Refusal to provide coverage of successes.
    Remember when D's and the FAKE NEWS media [+FAKEWOOD] pushed a stock market collapse if POTUS was elected?
    POTUS E + policies > largest gains recorded in market's history

    Remember when D's and the FAKE NEWS media [+FAKEWOOD] pushed complete economic collapse if POTUS was elected?

    New narrative created.
    Refusal to provide coverage of successes.
    [Deploy and use 'racism' 'sexism' and every other ….'ism' to counter potential Black/Hispanic pop support]
    Why do D's and the FAKE NEWS media [+FAKEWOOD] continually push the 'IMPEACH' narrative if impeachment requires 2/3rd SENATE VOTE TO ENACT (odds of that?)?
    Do they push this FAKE NARRATIVE to project a supposed 'supportable w/ evidence' wrongdoing to their BASE (confirmation bias)?
    Accusations never supported by facts?
    Group-Think.
    The list goes on and on…..

    I have had a hard time trying to follow the specific accusations. I understand that the Constitution says "treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors". As to bribery, isn't bribery what most politicians, in and out of the Presidency, attempt all the time? "Vote for me, and I'll get laws passed that enable you to put your hand in you neighbors' pockets, and force other people to do what you want them to do", seems to be the campaign policy that most of them follow when running for election: trying to bribe the voters of this nation. And, to a large extent, a large percentage, (if not the majority) of the voters seem quite willing to let themselves be bribed.

    If, as has been suggested, the "whistleblower" conspired with Schiff's staff and others to build a case for impeachment which included changing the rules for whistle blowing this represents a serious matter in and of itself that should be investigated.

    The one quote that sticks in my head is from Trump as he was walking past some reporters, it was an off the cuff remark and I don `t even remember the question, but his reply was "I caught the swamp", he smiled and kept walking. I think just prior to the election and directly after it will decide the course this Republic will follow for a very long time.

    Exactly, LOL!

    The correct phrase is "tinkers dam", though, and most people don't realize it because they don't know the little piece of Americana behind it. Back in the earlier days of our country good pots and pans were expensive and when a small hole developed in them due to wear, a casting defect, or some physical damage people would get them repaired by a metal worker known as a tinker. This tinker would clean around the hole with sand or other abrasive and then build a small "dam" out of a special kind of clay around the hole. He would then melt a softer metal like tin, pewter, lead, or bronze and pour it into the little mold to fill the hole and make a patch. The clay dam, which is now worthless, is washed away with water and discarded. Hence the phrase "not worth a tinkers dam". When I first heard that story I said, "Damn that's really cool!"

    Edit add: I can't swear on it, LOL, but by the time "Gone With The Wind" came out "damn" was more popular as in the phrase "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn!", but was controversial in a film. It was certainly a reference to the worthless tinkers dam, but the world had already moved on.

    May I make a recommendation for the Gulchers, an author find of mine posted on Facebook that I should read: "fake news" by Jerry Hatchett. It's a novel that is almost prophetic about the division happening in the US right now and the exposure of the Deep State's depravity.

    Maybe they were trying to be "diplomatic" or "presidential", which Trump has now clearly demonstrated may not be worth a tinker's dam.
