Ukraine Corruption Concerns Stall IMF Bailout

"The International Monetary Fund has put off a bailout for Ukraine because it is worried the country’s president won’t recoup billions of dollars allegedly looted from banks—including one once controlled by a close supporter—according to people familiar with the negotiations."

So, Orange Man is being investigated for impeachment allegedly for withholding military aid to a corrupt regime that is so hopeless that even IMF officials do not want to touch it, in exchange for help investigating corruption among US officials.

You don't have to like the guy, in order to see how thoroughly messed-up this partisan Rule by Men is.

Disappearing money is a legacy of communism.

It still plagues the former communist countries, Hungary, Romania, Poland just to mention a few.

It worked well under communism and since the former apparatchiks are still around, money disappears. The most recent scandal was in Hungary where the approved funds to build a new Metro line went up in smoke. They did not recover a penny of the millions.

BTW, it is unclear what you mean by this line:"You don't have to like the guy, in order to see how thoroughly messed-up this partisan Rule by Men is."

    Whom are you referring to?

With regard to post-USSR corruption, the Estonians sorted their stuff out in quick order. The Ukrainians have had thirty years to sort theirs out.

Soros has had his teeth with the full complicity of the US intelligence agencies since 1992 in the Ukraine he has set it up to be a weapons distribution , human trafficking and , money laundering hub. Soros controlled NGO’s funded byUS tax dollars has been his vehicle for manipulation deception and corruption. He set up the Courts and “placed his assets” there. He set up not one but two anti -corruption agencies with sweeping power. Two because he can use one against the other our to team up depending on the need. Billions from the US and the IMF have been looted and distributed to the Biden Pillosi Clinton Romney mob.
Uk4ainians for the most part have been caught up in murder mayhem and human trafficking caused by the aforementioned pukes.

The problem is that many of these countries let the communists survive and set roots again.

None of them rounded up and eliminated them. Now they are all back and reinstating their bloodsucking regimes. In Hungary, which lived under a great PM since 2010, the communists were pushed back but did everything to make it impossible for Orban to govern, not unlike what the left is doing in this country.

Now the communists are launching a comeback, having organized the election of a communist as the Mayor of Budapest, thanks to the thousands of foreigners who had the right to vote, being residents of the city.

First thing the new Mayor did is surround himself with old timer communists, a nightmare of the past. They announced that now they "will change the country from the base in Budapest, back to where it was", the debt ridden miserable place under the previous communist boss.
