With Epstein dead there cannot be a criminal trial. Any alleged participant in child molestation with enough money and clout (the Clintons, Prince Andrew, Gov. Richardson, et allia) can have any subpoena issued in a civil suit quashed. Hence this will end up like the JFK assassination - grist for conspiracy theorists.The full truth will never be known.

I know this whole story shouldn't bother me because I can't do anything about it. In that light...I had a bit of an epiphany last night. I was sitting in the ballroom of our country club, during our youth golf awards banquet. Happy to say my boy walked with a blue ribbon and a white one. Very proud of him. He's come a long way after serious health challenges. I looked around last night at all the 1%er families who were in the room and watched them. It really seemed that they couldn't care less about stories like this. They, based on the ones I know and what I could tell, have completely divorced themselves of the fact that at the very top we have the worst of the worst and that's how it will remain. I find that enlightened, and enlightening. I'm becoming more like that ASAP. I was once pretty naïve, trusting. It seems best to just divorce one's self from this kind of news.

Just because Epstein might have said that "X" was "involved" doesnt mean they would be convicted. It would take other evidence that is available even now to convict.

I doubt he would have anyway. There would have been no deal to let him out of jail if he fingered other players- so why help the prosecution

now they say "found hanging" in his cell. First time I read that. If its true, then he most likely committed suicide on his own. If its a made up story, then its a murder covered up by someone.
