I can't believe this. The House and the Senate actually passed a bi-partisen bill that helps the country. It took lots pf pressure on Speaker Palosi to get her to let it come to a vote but it did and passed. It is on the way to the Presidents desk for signature.
Who would have seen this last week or even yesterday.
this is truly a rare event this session of Congress

The House is promoting its bill and the motivation for it as funding for international welfare, not immigration control. They claim we owe the illegal immigrants the care they need.

Why isn't that a surprise? Two ragheads, one bartender and one idiot voted against fixing the border calamity.

We definitely need to turn the House back to a majority Conservative if we wish to survive.

Now they can blame Trump for any discrepancies to human decency found any place at the border, since they've allocated some money. They were already blaming him for children sleeping on concrete, drinking out of toilets, tin foil blankets, tearing children out of the hands of their mother, and even before the money. That will won't stop and they will disagree with whatever the money goes to actually doing.

I don't even need to watch the news anymore. Anytime Trump does anything I know what the left's automatic response will be. It has actually given me a lot more time for fishing.

Pelosi has always been aware that too much "resistance" would most certainly jeopardize the House seats the Democrats won that gave her back the speakership. Since this bill was aimed at the humanitarian emergency instead of a border wall, she decided to ignore the AOC cabal and go with the moderates.

May a 2020 landslide vote rout socialism and win back the House. That will truly make America great again.

    Thanks, mmnn. 👍
So the next question is: Why?
Does it do anything that Trump supporters want, or is it another $4 billion flushed down the toilet "for the children?"

See headline below from Fox and CNN:

House passes Senate’s $4.6 billion emergency border aid bill amid Democratic divisions

I think the house did in fact cave and pass the Senate bill.

The House bill has many restrictions on the funding, calling it for "humanitarian" use.
The Senate bill is the one that must be passed.
    The battle is not over.

In the House, "four Democrats voted no: Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. "
No surprise on Cortez, Omar, and Tlaib who want an invasion by muslim and socialist terrorists. Pressley represents Boston, was raised in Chicago where her mother worked for the leftist, racist Urban League.
