    Me dino had a very bloviated opinion of myself at age 16, but looking back at myself with all my adolescent FEELINGS, I possessed the maturity of an overgrown child.
    Further recall possessing certain realizations about myself when I reached the age of 30.
    Therefore, me dino proposes raising the voting age to 30 and running for any political office raised to the age of 35.

    And recently, the democrats wanted to lower the voting age to 16. It didn't go anywhere and they dropped it almost as soon as they mentioned it. But, you can see the motivation. People at 16 are still living at home and getting everything for free (in most cases) - the PERFECT democrat voter!

    Someone on this board once took me to task for calling that little girl AOC when everyone else was getting on the An Occasional Cortex train (notice I'm one of the very few who will add "An to cover for the "A").
    Being a Rush Limbaugh inspired leader of ad hominems on this board, maybe me dino should try to come up with something original. I can see right away that the "O" part is problematic.
    An Opinionated Commie? Accurate, but seems to lack umph. Second thought. No, not accurate. So-called "Justice Democrats" behind the curtain pull her puppet strings.

    The only thing I don't like about the nickname "Occasional Cortex" is that taken literally, it means that she sometimes (occasionally) actually does have a brain. I would argue that given her performance in Congress, I would not give her credit for having "gray matter" at any time - not even occasionally.

    You are so right! When my oldest son was two he was reading the newspaper comics, and at three, he asked good questions. 'Is there more than one God?' 'Why is that little boy's face black?' 'Does it hurt?' And by that time I had no help. I had become a single parent! My own mother threw up her hands and ran for cover!
