We provided clothing, food, health care, and found people to house them until they could find more permanent housing. Without government money! We know all about Hurricanes down here on the Coast. That's why some of our citizens are still awaiting help on Harvey and even Ike! They have had to rely on their own devices to survive. Then we see that our Texas Land Grant official helped one man in our Texas!

It is your responsibility to take care of yourself. We can argue the hows and whys of "common defense." I live in Texas. I serve in the state guard specifically to be availalbe for those emergencies, incidents, and disasters.

That said, the same creeks and rivers fill up with water. The hurricane season starts June 1. The snow melts in the mountains. Lightning strikes. None of this is a surprise. But everyone wants "the government" to replace what they lost when they chose to live where they do and (more to the point) do nothing about it.

I wonder where the 'Looney Leftists" are hiding all that money they say can be printed? We don't have the wall complete and now we have thousands of people to care for. Our farmers are damaged in the mid-west and the coastal states are now in the Hurricane Season! This is very worrisome.
