In this regressing Clown World, making an A-Ok symbol is now as bad as a cartoon frog or saying you want to Make America Great Again. These are all being pushed as hateful, and those who actively resist their groupthink based moral superiority complex will be punished.

Winston Churchill used two fingers held aloft as a V for victory symbol. It turns out for many Brits this meant "go and get stuffed", the equivalent of a an American "flipping a bird". There is also a common gang symbol of holding up a hand with for finger and pinky up, that in Hawaii means "Hang loose, bruda" or maybe "phone me" which might get you killed in the wrong areas. "Confusin but amusin" as L'il Abner might say.

Have you ever noticed how often Trump holds his hand that way when he's talking to a crowd? Not the upside down one, the fingers up one. Is that what tainted the hand gesture, because Trump is the poster boy for the white supremacists? By the way, even a thumbs-up sign in some countries is considered obscene, the equivalent of a middle finger. Banning hand moves is just another way to limit speech and thought.

My kids still play this game every day - just without the bruised arms.

    Stupidity on full display.

Whats Next?...thumbs up, thumbs down, the Hi sigh, a traditional salute, a fore finger making a clockwise circle indicating someone is crazy?

Well!...I'll show em my Bow Finger. _!__

Help is on the way. Fox News aired a delightful Mother's Day Show today and a group of young mothers (all Trump activists) commented how people treat them because of their support of our President. And they commented 'We do vote".....

Much anything you say or do can be insulting to someone in some part of the world somewhere. Worst thing to do is just push all cultures and people together without using reason. Like mixing Pepsi with bleach and making a postmodern drink.

If that is happening in other parts of the world I would expect it to come here as our own little version of 1984 language clipping.

As they like to say - I'm offended. Therefore, I am.

Correct. I believe in Brazil and a few other countries it means "A$$HOLE!" so when you travel outside the US be careful.

That jester means A-Ok in AMERICAN areas. In many others it is not a good sign to make . It verges on obscene and is extreme insulting.
I have not ever seen it referred to as a white supremacist sign or gesture. I must have missed that one along the line.
