"CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota says she's "disheartened" by the prospect that President Trump won't be held accountable by the Department of Justice or Congress over the findings in the Mueller report."
Findiings were No collusion and No Obstruction. What is there to hld the President accountable for?
"n Friday, Camerota began the panel discussion by asking how the House Democrats' desire for the testimony of former White House lawyer Don McGahn would "change anything," when in her view there's "ample evidence" in the report that Trump obstructed justice."
Three different legal experts (acvtually two and the DOJ committee) found no evidence of obstruction rising to a crime. Telld A to do something and A doesn't do it is not Obstruction of Justice. Also there was no underlying crime to obstruct..
Sometimes these people are just plain stupid.

That's because she is one of those on the left who has bought in to Trump Derangement Syndrome: she just can't fathom the notion that he isn't actually guilty of the accusations being leveled at him. I think it comes back to the notion brought up in Atlas Shrugged where the government has been taken over by the corrupt and they are just choosing which people they choose to prosecute because everyone is guilty of something.

And that is what many on the left are willing to overlook. The charge of "obstruction" is actually a two-pronged charge: the prosecutor must prove BOTH that there was an act taken which actually interfered with a legal investigation (and that part right there is right now under extreme scrutiny) AND that there was actual intent to mislead the investigators. Everything noted in Mueller's report regarding Trump were things which even if there had been an underlying crime, the defense would have been that #1 nothing actually happened to obstruct investigators and #2 people are still entitled to voice their opinions - which does not constitute obstruction.

Camerota was once on Fox News a few years ago.
She drank the left wing kool-aid and went to the left...CNN. No reason to pay any attention to her whining.

Lets get the numbers right. Mueller's entire team of 17 anti-Trump lawyers couldn't find evidence that Trump obstructed their investigation. The statement that they also couldn't exonerate him was a political bone to throw out to the Democrat politicians. Prosecutors don't find people innocent, as innocence is presumed in the American justice system.

As AG Barr said, there has to have been a crime committed to obstruct justice.

I have yet to find the "time" when these people aren't just plain stupid. They live and breathe stupid.

No, but this afternoon I heard on Fox Radio in my car that, besides mumbling, he could not finish sentences and stuff.

Did you hear Biden at his rally? He mumbled so badly you couldn't understand what he was saying. It was sad.

Aw, gee, that poor little empty-headed thing.
Perhaps, a class act like Candidate Joe Biden could provide her with a therapy session.

If the had acknowledged the truth it would not be so bad now. If for 2 1/2 years you spend spreading lies and investing so much in them when they are fully revealed and you cannot hide anymore. It is bound to cause some angst. Grow up and get over it.

    Believe in justice?

    What a dork!

I have only one question at this point: do these brainwashed idiots believe what they are saying or simply reading talking points handed to them?

The former requires brain activity, the latter does not.

She is an empty-headed, ignorant, well paid puppet who presents the misleading, irrational propaganda that her lying bosses use in an attempt to cover up crimes of looters in con-gress and previous administrations. That is the true, purposeful obstruction of justice.

"these past two years have been disheartening for people who believe in justice."
Yes, but not the way she thinks. The previous 28 years of treasonous injustice perpetrated by Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations (and the poltroons who led con-gress in that period) is the source of injustice; those are the injustices to be reversed. Perhaps this year there will be prosecutions to repair some of the injustices and treason imposed by Camerota's statist idols in violation of the laws of the United States.
