    ditto, google search is no help and the ASmovie site has nothing but 'demand AS' with no feedback whatsoever.
    Pointless to make plans to attend if the nearest place is off the map.

    If you're an old, old movie buff, they made the movie "Beneath the 12 Mile Reef" here with sponging as the story background. It was founded by Greeks and is still a predominately Greek town, with a series of the best Greek restaurants on the Sponge Docks, outside of Athens.

    Tomorrow is out anniversary and we're going out to a semi-fancy restaurant to celebrate (your comment is timely). Semi fancy means higher prices than Dennys and I wear a freshly laundered pants and slacks (they might even match) instead of shorts and a T-shirt. This is Florida after all. It's a new eatery (that means it's only been here for less than 5 years). I live in a 160 year old sponge fishing village.

    I hope I can find an opening night around here... if I do, it will be me and hubby. Whether we can go to a theater or not, we will be getting the DVD just the same.

    Only it looks like the 'opening in Torrance' is entirely hypothetical, based on AS2. So. I do not know. Thinking...
