Clapper and Brennan STILL Have Security Clearance as They Trash Trump and Work at CNN, MSNBC

Here is your deep state, the President ordered their clearances revoked almost a year ago, and the traitors in the bureaucracy just didn't bother to do it. It's called TREASON. Why isn't everyone in that chain under arrest?

    When my daddy was investigated before doing a certain job, the FBI investigated me! I was a very naïve, church-going early twenties girl! The only thing I did wrong was sing too loud in church! And they give these guys clearances?

    Although just because you have a clearance does not necessarily mean you have access. You really do have to have a "need to know" as the second part of access. This is probably not that big of a deal as it seems.

      Ah, you assume that the people granting "access" are not serving the same group that Clapper and Brennan represent. The fact that the POTUS directed their clearances revoked, and that it was not done, indicates the rot in the bureaucracy that supports the system, and the same resistance that existed in the FBI and DOJ, where violating the law, Constitutional rights and ethics, was no big deal. These creeps are playing for keeps.

    How did Brennan get a Security Clearance attending college in Saudi and spending 6 years in the middle east? He thinks Islam is peaceful? I say rescind his clearance!

      Exactly. Any risk is a reason to pull it. I had to do all the clearances for a submarine crew as the Asst Security Officer on a Trident. We had Secret as a basic level, TS for most anyone connected to weapons or Navigation, and TS/SIOP/SCI for Officers and Radio. It was a rotyal pain in the a@@, and required detailed background checks. The weak link was the background checks were usually just checks of databases (crude in the 70's and 80's) and if nothing came up, you were OK for TS. Leave out any flags from the data base, and you were clear. So, both Brennan and Clapper probably had some manipulation done for them. The deep state has been around for a long, long time, I would say at least 200 years in it's current form, so putting your people in place would not be a big deal. Once there, "manipulation R us"....

    Clapper and Brennan can trash Trump on TV because trash for talking head puppets are all who CNN and MSNBC will hire
    despite the nose-diving ratings self-inflicted by those sick and twisted networks.

    It's important to understand the difference between having a security clearance and having access. Once you have been granted a clearance the responsibility to safeguard classified information never goes away. It's with you for the rest of your life. Access, however, is quite another matter. Most classified information is issued on a "need to know" basis. If Clapper and Brennan have a justifiable need to know then access is understandable. However, it is not clear how being a talking head at CNN or MSNBC provides such justification.

      Good grief, Clinton STILL has never responded to a Senate summons and request for information about the email thing and her time as SecState, and no one did anything. They are just begining to roll on her for the email crap she blew off...
