I am trying to visualize the case where I am a person making a connecting flight -- and these animals were to try to block my passage. At first, I would attempt to press through them. If pushed, I would push back. And if it got violent, this 100 miler ultra endurance athlete would make them understand that for every action, there is a reaction. It would not end well ... if I am going to miss my flight on account of their actions, they are going to pay.

Seattle is in trouble because they are blocking ICE at King County Airport. They are losing millions in government funding. This is really looking bad!

I haven't flown since 2001. Not because of (freelance) terrorists. Because of the TSA. It helps that the airlines treated us like cattle even before that time.

    I build it...they take it/occupy it...?
Yes, France belongs to the French.

If they can do anything with it, Africa belongs to Africans.

If not, Africa will belong to whoever can subdue the earth therein.

    Civilization takes effort.

"France does not belong to the French! Everyone has a right to be here!"

Sure. It was the Africans who occupied the area first, established France's history and glorious (or less glorious) past.

This is a direct result of the French "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite", taken to the extreme.

Can't say I feel sorry for them.

I don't either. And I don't feel sorry for Germany, or any other country who doesn't respect or maintain its own borders. Be careful you open border idiots, you might get what you wish for....San Francisco comes to mind.

Gillibrand, one of the many running for president (is there something in the water of New York to produce this demented species?) - announced that we need no borders: "Let everybody in".

Most of what is coming from there defies not only common sense but natural survival instincts every human is endowed with. I simply can't comprehend how they are able to conduct their lives.

You know, if you think along the lines that they hate this country so much and want it to be communistic, then how they think makes sense.

No, it does not make sense.

That is what we have been discussing for some time. They have no idea what communism entails. Nobody in the US experienced it.

Take Hollywood, for example. I think we agree that there is a large contingent there pushing for communism.

Of course they assume that they will be able to preserve their positions of "celebrities", coming with million dollar compensations per film/TV. should communism take over.

Would they be as enthusiastic if they knew they would get paid $500 per take?

To them it makes sense, not to the rest of us. Of course if they had an understanding of Communism they wouldn't want to live under it, but they don't. Of course they think that they will be the elites and continue to be the ruling class and live life styles that they are used to. To them any country and any system of government is better than ours. Our universities teach that philosophy, and these idiots fall for it So to them it makes sense to hate America as it was founded.

"I simply can't comprehend how they are able to conduct their lives."

It's because most of them have no comprehension or experience with the outcomes of those kinds of decisions. What's worse, they adjure the actual history of all such and imagine for themselves a panacea of wonder in place of the terrible reality. It's all standard behavior for those who think they have actual power.

The only rationale I see in their conduct it that they positioned themselves safely among the power elite, at least in their perception (reality may defeat them) and convinced that whichever way things turn, they will always be sheltered and protected, extending their rule.

That is mercifully coming to an end now.

"That is mercifully coming to an end now."

I only wish that were true. It is going to take a lot of 2x4's upside the populace's collective head to get people to take a long, hard look at reality. I shudder to think what those 2x4's are going to look like... (war, etc.)

                Yes, Blair, you are right..

I like to think that I have a good head on my shoulders, a good head that helped me through many ups and downs in my life.

If I were to assess the current affairs of the country (and the entire world for that matter) I would be inclined to conclude that rational forces have a steep upside curve to climb just to balance things out, let alone be in control.

At least we see the signs of a healthy fighting for what is right and sane, to some extent.

What the outcome will be, is anyone's guess. Optimism and positive energy are great help in tipping the balance and I want to believe in that.
