What about the following vaccines? Polio, small pox, MMR, whooping cough?
many childhood dieses are eliminated or minimalized in impact.
I grant there iare some Vaccines that are questionable but each should be evaluated on its merits rather than bundling them all together and stating "Bad, Bad, Bad".

I'll be taking my vaccines for the foreseeable future, thanks. So will my kids and grandkids, at least that's what they tell me they're going to do.

Whatever ill effects I might have are somewhat less serious than death, at least so far. I had the flu once when I was 8, and that was enough for me. I hate it when I see people that I otherwise think highly of go down this road. While every vaccine may not be perfect (in fact, I can easily agree that they are not), we are far better off now that we have them than we were before they were invented/discovered.

Anyone who doubts this can go visit any old cemetery and observe the hundreds and hundreds of gravestones of children buried there during outbreaks of various childhood diseases. Often, entire families were wiped out as a result of these diseases.

Two weeks ago I had the new-ish Shingrix vaccine which did, indeed make me ill for about a week. Similar to what the Zostavax did back in the day (I participated in clinical trials for Zostavax). Have one more dose of the Shingrix coming up in about 2-6 months, and I'll be taking that, too. Even if it makes me sick. I don't want shingles and that's the best way I can think of to avoid it.

I also have a theory and so far so good. My theory is I don't take the flu vaccine, but I do take the pneumonia one. The flu won't kill you, but pneumonia will! I've had the flu three times and it was always the A-type, the one that goes back to 1957! The doctor came to my house and stayed two nights! Hospitals were full in Houston. No medical beds available.

WOW! I mean, WOW. So much fraud!

Everything the government meddles with turns into disaster.

The problem as I see it is that some areas need to be controlled, such as childhood diseases or epidemics.

When it is put into the hands of bureaucrats, it invariably ends up as a failure.

Add to this environmental control. In areas of California, the aim was to control a species and prevent it from extinction.

In the process, the "control" affected vegetation and other species, completely upsetting the fragile eco balance that existed before, making the problem a full blown disaster.

As for the FDA and CDC, there are a lot of fatal mistakes both undertook, which are carefully covered up.

Well...I've never said this about anything else. But, I know more about this topic than almost anybody. After dedicating a decade of research and more money than I'll admit I've seen things that would blow you away regarding vaccines and basic epidemiology. Almost nobody knows what they're talking about on this here, or elsewhere. So, I'll just leave you with my favorite Voltaire quote - Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
