Justice. Hilarity. Karma. LOL.

Besides the understanding that $1bn would never amount to much building at all in the "Golden State", the sweet irony in Gavin Newsom's grimace when he read this news must have been worth every penny pulled.

I suppose that's what happens when you create sanctuary cities and prevent a federal agency from performing the duties for which they are trained and paid.

But it's California; ole Newsom can just go to his favorite sushi restaurant and wash away the pain with a little cold sake.

When California pulled it money out the Fed should have instantly pull the Tax payers money out. If the beneficiary won't pay therir share, the taxpayer should be expected to continue to pay.

"It's been paid for with federal money, bond dollars and revenue from the state's cap-and-trade program that requires polluters to pay to emit greenhouse gases."
I guess this whole time California should have been encouraging air pollution... then their cap and trade program could provide the 1 billion dollars!
