Barr accuses Dems of using criminal justice process as ‘political weapon,’ as hearing tensions flare

"Attorney General William Barr fired back Wednesday at Democrats who for weeks have called his integrity into question over his handling of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia report, suggesting during a testy Capitol Hill hearing they were only using the issue to score political points ahead of the 2020 election -- and advising that the DOJ's role in the controversy is now "over."
“We have to stop using the criminal justice process as a political weapon,” Barr said during a back-and-forth with Connecticut Democratic Sen. Dick Blumenthal."

The Democrats will use anything they think will benefit then now and in the future. If using the legal system to destroy opposition is successful they will use it again and again. Success breeds success.

    Senator Blumenthal was a great Viet Nam vet....right? Oh wait....after a NYT story alleging he lied, Blumy claimed he misspoke....which is Demospeak for "he lied". Up AG Barr. Down Dem Blumenthal.

    I think some of the most disgusting attacks were by Lazy Maizie Hirono (D - Hawaii). She actually got called out for her slanderous remarks and rightly so.

    AG Barr is foing the job he was appointed to do and doing it well. He is representing the American People and protecting their constitutional rights. That is what the AG is supposed to do. Not like the Obama AG's who trampled all over the rights of "We, The People".

    Me dino accuses Dems as being a political weapon against our Constitutional freedoms, but compared to Barr (or what Davy Crocket called a bear) me dino is but a little tweety bird way off somewhere far tweeting away in the woods.
