John Brennan blasts Trump's 'sociopathic ramblings,' denies participating in a 'coup'

What would you call an attempt to remove a duely elected president from office with lies enuendo and attempted secret tapeing of the person. Also with the assistance of foreign government intel agencies?
Sounds like a coup to me.
Also his statements show the utter contempt he has for the President.
"Former CIA Director John Brennan pushed back Friday on President Trump's charge that he knew about or participated in an attempt to overthrow the American government.

"I don't think it's surprising at all that we continue to hear the sociopathic ramblings of Mr. Trump claiming that there was this effort to try to prevent him from being elected or to unseat him," he told MSNBC's Hallie Jackson."

Just a tad contemptuous in word and tone.

But he does deserve attention, a lot of attention. He is one example of the mask slipping, which should be seen more often. Establishment "professionals" are portrayed as having above average intelligence and knowledge, with a civilized, rational demeanor, yet their unguarded moments like these TV interviews on friendly territory, exposed emails, etc. reveal them to be anything but rational and civilized.

Branding victims as insane to discredit them as unworthy of concern while locking them up is not unique to the Communists and wasn't started by them.

One example in this country in the 1930s was the progressives branding as "feeble minded" the "hill people" they forcibly removed for the Shenandoah National Park takeover in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Part of the government "benefits" of the New Deal was forcibly incarcerating these people in a government institution called The Colony in Lynchburg, Virginia, a mental institution where they were forcibly sterilized.

A horrifying documentary was produced on this policy five years ago called Rothstein’s First Assignment, which included work by the Depression-era documentary photographer, Arthur Rothstein in addition to further research and interviews of victims.

The brutal removal of people by arrogant elitists obsessed with creating early National Parks has been described in several books, including Durwood Dunn's Cades Cove: The Life and Death of a Southern Appalachian Community 1818-1937 (Smoky Mountains National Park) https://www.amazon.com/Cades-Cove-App....

Most accounts that acknowledge and decry the forced removals mention the misrepresentations of the "hill people" as mental retards regarded as not worthy of concern, but do not include the incarceration and sterilization program because it has been kept hidden and is not widely known. Most accounts of National Parks do not mention forced removals at all.

FDRs forced internment of Americans of Japanese descent was not the first example of such mass brutality, nor did the practice by the National Park Service stop.

But they do have something to back it up -- their own mental problems.

This is like turning on the lights in a roach infested room. All the critters run for cover. Grumpy (John Brennan) is probably one of the key conspirators in the coup attempt against Trump's presidency. He seems to forget that every time Trump has talked about something that the anti-Trumpers have ridiculed him initially, later turned out to be true. Case in point, spying. It was not an investigation, it was stunningly stupid spying for political reason. And the list goes on. Grumpy is worried that pretty soon a list of names will be disclosed which will announce Guantanamo potential future occupants and his name will be on it. In reality, he should worry.

Rich irony that the anti-Trump purveyors of Newspeak (my guess) would create such a slogan.

Likely what happened to Otto Warmbier in North Korea. They "fixed" him good. And now they're demanding $2 million for his "care." Ha!

This is the last-ditch rantings of someone who knows his shenanigans are now going to be put under a microscope. His name is likely to feature prominently in the upcoming IG report which has already been reported contains criminal indictments.

Like it! A lot of folks won';t get it though. Heck, a lot of folks don't even know who Orwell was.
One would likely be the dude who told Watters of Watters World that we fought China during World War Two.

Former corrections officer me can tell you that convicted felons in prison will still be blowing smoke.
Feel moved to repeat here in The Gulch a story me dino read three or so decades ago.
During the 1700's a French aristocrat with lots of pull visited a prison. Inmate after inmate complained of being innocent and being treated unfairly in court.
The his excellency happened upon one inmate who hung his head and said he was guilty of his crimes and deserved to be in prison.
The aristocrat asked the man's name and gave it to the warden on the way out, saying, "Release that cur lest he corrupt all the innocent people here."

Isn't the first goal of the CIA disinformation?
Why would the kingpin of disinformation be given a platform on CNN? Spycraft isn't sneaking around with little cameras, it's persuading masses with alternative reality.
    Brennan, Clapper, and Comey.

    Yep. +1
Many of the so-called progressives are using quite a few of those historically immoral but effective by any means necessary tools of the past.
And they claim themselves morally superior.

    You are correct on that.

All the tools being used by the left today have been "invented" long ago by the communists.

I used to say when Obama was running that I have seen this movie before and knew where it led to. People in this country are not familiar and it is new to them so that is why many of them on the left swallow it hook, line and sinker.

All the left has to do is study the means by which the elite controlled the masses in past communist societies and apply them. That is why Congress is not doing what they were elected to do: too busy implementing communist control mechanisms.

If one is familiar with the Communist approach to handling ones opponents it is not too surprising..Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev et al had their opponents "examined by psychiatrists then sent to "Hospitals" for treatment. Most became totally non-functional within a short period of time and truly needed psychiatric help.
Also a careful reading of "1984" will show that Orwell was familiars with the approach. Look at what his character Winston went through before his conversion.

Isn't it interesting how many of these leftist loonies mention mental problems connected to Trump and have nothing to back it up! If I call someone crazy, I have seen the proof! It is so evident it hits you over the head.

One can seldom find a more hate filled and degraded being than Brennan.

He is oozing his bile built up inside through his pores, distorting his features.

If I were a film director I'd cast him in a role epitomizing loathing and abhorrence.

It'll be extra redemption to see him behind bars.

Brennan should be more careful! It takes one to know one! Now, personally I do not agree with him, but then I'm not a psychiatrist. Is Brennan?
